Faith Isn't Enough

So many believe that simply having faith in Jesus Christ is sufficient for fulfilling your purpose on this earth. I question the sincerity of that person's belief then.]

For if a person has actually committed their life to Jesus as Savior and Lord, than the desire to serve as Jesus served compells them. He is the Lord and our purpose is to love and serve others as He did, for He alone set the example of what is pleasing to the Lord.

Therefore claiming faith in Jesus without the intent to love, serve and help others is an empty vessel floating through time and space. For the days you have numbered on this earth, serve others in the manner by which He has called you to serve, forgoing all excuses, for nothing is beyond His ability to work through you.

"What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? ... In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." James 2:14,17
