Many Will Talk, Few Will Act

Read It, Learn It, Live It, Share It

“Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly” – Romans 12:6

A day, an hour, a minute – what is the value of time?
Phone calls, letters, emails – who are you impacting in your life?
Holding hands, together, hugs – are you loving one another?
Raking lawns, making cookies, bringing dinner – are you serving your community?
Blankets, water, cheeseburgers – where are the homeless people who need you?
Smile, laugh, celebrate – can you light up another person’s day?

You don’t think you can make a difference in this world?  I call you out today, because I know you can make a difference.  No-one is asking you to solve world hunger or stop the wars or bring financial freedom to those who are impoverished.  Just do something that takes the focus off of you and blesses another.  There are over 6.2 billion people walking this earth today, and your sphere of influence reaches how many?  Ten, Fifty, One hundred, One thousand, One million . . . Do not let your daily agenda get in the way of making a difference in the life of another person today, for in doing so you are allowing that person to make a difference in another person’s life.  You will never see the full impact of loving another human being, because you don’t see how they in turn use that influence to change their behavior in dealing with those that they impact.  Most of you know what a multi-level marketing program is – you tell 2 people, they tell two people, they tell two people and so on.  Did you realize that it only takes 33 levels to reach every person in the world, assuming that every person impact 2 unique individuals and there is no overlap.

You and I each bring unique skills, talents and gifts to the world and have the ability to make a huge impact if you only would choose to do something with what you’ve been given.  I propose you seriously look at how you can spread God’s love, peace, comfort, and passion to those around you in the simplest way today.  Don’t overthink it, just do it.
